Default RC Solutions Clod Project

Hey guys.. I kind of got sick of my scale clod... I went to an auto show this past weekend and out of the blue, I stumbled on a RC Solutions T-Maxx roll cage. I picked it up for $35 canadian, new in package. I need a few suggestions on how to mount the top links. I have some stuff to make links with, I just cant seem to get the configuration right. My first mount for the top links made them basically vertical so the axles were extremely sloppy... but it did crawl good aside from the axle slopping around.
Should I continue this Project? I need some FEEDBACK Guys....
Anyways here are some pics... Tell me what you guys/gals think...

Well, um, ah, no. Its cool you are thinking outside the box but, the thing is to RED, and it is going to twist itself death. That cage is not made for tortional(?) stiffness. Plus all thet junk hanging over the front and rear axle is going to get in the way of the movement of the axles.

I wasn't going to say anything, you know " if you can't say something nice..." but those large RED letters pushed me over the edge

If it works great, good idea, but at least change the color.

Hack off the cage, put the upper links at the same spot as the lower on the chassis?

The upper shock mount points won't work well, wrong direction.

I'd say not good.

thanks for some replies.. the links over the front are just there for now.. i was trying to find a spot to mount them...

the cage will get cut soon enough... I know it already hits the axles (rear) too easily... how else could i mount the shocks ?

like EeePee said upper links where bottom links are. and make an L bracket for the shocks so they are mounted in the right direction. and looks like you could use longer front links if you are going to keep the bumper mount/cage so you have a better aproch angle. and looks good, like the inovative thinking.
