Default Steering linkage that clears my 4-links

When I put behind the axle steering up front on "Ol Clod" my approach angle improved but my front steering went to hell !!! I had limited throw because the steering linkage hit the lower 4-link.

This caused all sorts of problems. First being the limited throw. Also the steering would get hung up when the axle was articulating preventing me from steering. Finally the constant hanging up caused the servo to strip some gears at the last comp!!!

First I lowered the servo with a new mount, better but still hanging up and stripping gears. While surfing some posts I saw how a stock VMG steering is set up. It gave me an idea, I think it's called a drag link.

Interesting design....interested to see how it works on the rocks.

You sure your problem wasn't all the bling parts?

This thread shows pictures of bta setups that will not bind.
Does "behind the axles" limit artic?
Take a look at posts 6 and 12 for good examples.

Your problem might be in the interesting way you designed it.
