Default How much servo for Gaint Tracs?

I've got some Gaint Tracs mounted on narrowed Clod rims (no spacers) on my Project Xerox (if you can beat them, join them).

Click the image to open in full size.
BTW I know the body is FUGLY - its only temporary...

And I'm have a hard time steering these meats!

Up front I've got a one Blue Bird BMS-660MG w/ Heat Sink Servo rated at 195 oz-in. @ 6V with a Kimbrough 124 black servo saver and behind the axle steering.

Out back I've got two Blue Bird BMS-630MG servos rated at 195 oz-in. @ 6V with two Kimbrough 124 black servo savers and normal steering.

For electronics I'm running a 7.2V 3300 mAh SubC main Battery pack to a Super Rooster with no recevier pack. I've ran a 9.6V 1100 mAh 2/3A main Battery pack and it seems to perform the same as the large pack. The rear definately steers better then the front but it still not great. Every time I put a solid servo arm on the front servo I end up blowing a servo (on my previous clod chassis') so I rather not go that route. and the rear with two servo savers compared to two solid arms is almost identical performance, so I choose to go with the servo savers.

So do you guys have problems steering with Gaint Tracs?

Is there a stronger servo saver I should be using?

Is it worth narrowing the GT's? I don't want to loose my tire performance. plus I hate cutting up these rare tires.

Are these BlueBirds really putting out that much torque compared to a equal Hitec or Airtronics servo?

Any ideas?

Sorry if this is in the wrong spot to post this but I didn't know where to post this question since its Tire and Servo related.

Maybe you should consider how you drive as well. No offense but if you have a wheel trapped and you are trying to steer you are going to break something.

I usually try not to steer unless there is some kind of movement. And use common sense when you have a trapped wheel.

Most of the time the servos break from rollovers.......Not from Raw Abuse.

I've seen guys not run servo savers and well, they've broken servos. I run servo savers and have had no problems.

I run 1/4 scale servos and no servo savers. I have no problem at all.

I do fine with 645s & Kimbroughs & GTs. Float like a feather... steer while moving.
I too kill servos out of the blue. So servo savers are a must. I don't use weights.
All my electronics / batts are on, or above the front axle. I dunno...
