jedsled's 2.2 stick clod

hey guys, well with the introduction of bergs, and now bullys, i wanted a moa comp rig, but wanted to be unlike the majority of the drivers out there. thanks to newbe, i got a sweet deal on this 2.2 stick clod.

like most others, i realized i would save money by buying a used rig almost already set-up. so with some changes to wiring, and installing my electrics, here it is... the new and improved "rock cop". and what did i do with the money saved? lets just say i'll also be building a pimp cane 2.2 comp clod as well!

the build parts:

tcs stick chassis
traxxas big bore shocks
clod axles (of course)
trackgear lockers ttr cvds and straight axles
jp' small knuckles
hot racing small c axle housings
mayhem clod-offset beadlocks
jordans for tires
hand bros. bta steering
hitec 5955tg steering servo
mamba max esc
spektrum sr3000 rx and dx3 tx w/ dig mod
electric dig controlled by hitec 225mg servo
integy 65t motors w/ 7t pinions
maxamps 3300 2s lipo (for now)
and my "patented" rock cop themed 2.2 proline rockstar body

enjoy the pics.

Looking good."thumbsup"Have you had a chance to try it out ? I know dragging the rocks inside is tricky but I think I might get a pile in the garage for a test session.:ror:

it seems to crawl really well on my course in the basement- however its a smaller indoor course set-up and sized for my losi mrc. i'll hafta wait and see how it does at kasper's next gtg, and work from there. i know i'll hafta get different hexs to bring the track width in, as it currently sits at 11.5" wide in front.

Ha! The tires on backwards and the lock-out on the rear axle was throwing me for a loop, until I saw the body on! The rims are nice. Are those Vaquish rims?

Personally, I have always liked the Clods and especially "The Stick."

thanks, i'm really happy that i chopped-up my rockstar body to put on the stick... its like it was designed for it, not to mention that a rounded roll-over-friendly body really wouldnt matter so much with those shock mounting plates sticking out of the bodywork.

i'm gonna see how it crawls with the big lipo on the rear axle, if i need to move it to the front, i already have some ideas on how to mount it to fit, its just that it will be placed above the front axle a little higher than i'd like... i wanna stick with the 3300 lipo, as these moa rigs get quite thirsty.
