Built me a fast one Apologies if this is in any way distasteful, but some things you gotta try at least once. The UK guys at TC have a 'monster bash' once or twice a year, and everything I got up until now has been too slow to be competitive. I'll fit some motors and leccies soon, just waiting on motor mounts from a certain store :-P All that's left after that is a couple of cross braces and a shell Pictures from this years spares-fest ![]()

http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom.asp?id=169&offset=90 There's some forward and back buttons at the top, and 2 1/2 pages of pics from various events For instance, here's a pic of a Rough Rider (Released 1979) getting abused, followed by a demo on how to remodel touring cars effectively | |

I used to race Clods. You can make them haul A with proper setup Twinset has the tires nailed. Pullers are the lightest Clod tire made, besides Bajas. Nice job on the chassis.

Yep, run the pullers with no foam and that's the lightest setup available with a Clod size rim. I used to cut the inner bead off the rim and re-glue inside.

Now that's a pretty shell, what is it? I'm on the lookout for a shell for my junfac clod, top of the list so far is the Parma 49 Mercury (with a Monster Mutt paintjob) and a kamtec models Dodge Charger (a monster General Lee could be on the way).

I thought that the HPI Charger would be far too big, but I guess that it isn't. Woohoo!

It did look a bit long on the Rage chassis, but that only had a 13 1/2" wheelbase, the chassis the Mustang is on is just over 15"
