| Hey all, I'm considering building a 2.2 clod and I'm wondering about wheel offsets. I've tried searching, but I'm not having any luck finding what I'm looking for. What wheels are most of you happy with? I'm trying to get as close as possible to the maximum 12.5 inch width to comply with the rules. Also this 12.5 width is measured from outside to outside right? Of the wheel or tire? I would assume it's from outside to outside, but I recently saw someone posting width measurements from inside to inside which made no sense, but I thought I'd ask for clarification. Heavy |

| This thread might help you out. DD 2.2 Scale Clod 72' Chevy Im going to try and post some pics tonight with measurements of my before and after width. You might try and contact "CSR" since he has gone through a variation of 2.2's wheels/tires to ask him what he would recommend. |

| I use Traxxas Pede wheels. I think it is the Pede rear wheels. My Clod 2.2 sits very close to 12.5 I will have mine at GR. Everyone should be measuring outside to outside Btw |

I like wheels designed for the REAR of a Stampede/Rustler. I have Masher 2K's on Traxxas 'Pede rear wheels, outside track with those is 12". I also have IMEX all-T's on RPM rear 'pede wheels, outside track width on those measures 12.5". I'll have my 12.5" wheelbase 2.2" Clod with me at Green River. Check it out and drive it, you'll be hooked. ;) They're a lot of fun.

| its impossible to search for "2.2" its not a long enough term so the search engine ignores it.. if you search for 2.2 clod, you only get results for "clod". what about a "scale" width? what wheels could you use that wouldn't bind on the links or the knuckle, but not stick out so wide that it looks funny? |

Yup Just kidding, thanks for the info guys. I'll put it to good use. CSR, Yea, I'd really like to check out your rig, I'm thinking the 2.2 class might be something I could get into also. The only thing I'm not really diggin' is the 2 wheel steering only. Heavy
