Hey guys, I need some info on what to do with a situation I got goin on. I found a deal on some Maximizer beadlocks that i just had to have and got some TTR adapters to run them with. These wheels have zero(at least i think that's the correct descrip.) offset. meaning flat faced, non "deep dish" . And just by looking at the TTR adapters I thought they would compensate for that and give me enough spacing to have plenty turning room/clearance...Wrong. So now I have these new wheels/tires and adapters and they aint gonna work. What do I need to fix this problem? I definately wanna run these wheels and tires so what adapters/wideners do I need to get for them? Thanks for any help... Last edited by Elway358; 09-26-2005 at 06:18 PM.

I'd say narrow the wheels 3/4 to 1".. But I don't know much about the maximizer design so I don't know how easy that would be to do. -Jay

LOL, yeah that's the way the steering was when I got it. That's the stock stuff. That'll be my next mission, just haven't had time to mess with it. I thought of narrowing them, but it's a little more to do than a standard wheel. Plus, these really narrowed the track width up a good bit. Don't know if that's a good or bad thing? Figured some wideners or something would give me that width back if it would benefit me. Anyone know if Aces adapters would fix the problem? Are they any "wider" than the TTR ones?

You could get some adapters from Ace. I think that he can make them in custom sizes.

Yeah I'd talk to Ace-the TTR adapters strip out pretty easily so you would have probably went with his adapters sooner or later anyway

You could buy the offset wheel faces which would bump each wheel out 3/4. But your wheels would have to look different. Or you could buy the Inet wideners to push your current adaptors out 3/4. http://www.inetrc.com/shopping/html/shopping_home.cfm Last edited by Mnster; 09-26-2005 at 10:16 PM.
