Default super stick help

I am planning on building a stick cawler and was wanting to know what style frame is better the round tube with shocks or a piece of aluminm u-channel. I have a piece of u-channel i was thinking of using. is there any pros & cons to using this style frame or should i spend the money on the tube style?

the u-channel frame that you are referring to is a "pimpcane" sold by jpcustomrcs.com

the "stick" is sold by tcscrawlers.com

these are 2 completely different style of chassis and work differently in different circumstances. the stick does require some tuning w/ shocks and springs, but the pimpcane requires no set-up other than tires and foams. the pimp cane is better for someone who doesnt want to tackle any tuning and is also far cheaper. both are great chassis.

The square stock wont twist like the u-channel will. the square stock would work for a normal frame but the u-channel is the key component it the pimp cane design.
