Default How Much Grease?

Hi guys, I just took apart my clod axles to re-lube everything since it has sat and hasn't been done in the past 20 years and I was wondering how much grease I should apply to the gears? When I took the case apart the gears were pretty much dry. I have read about using white lithium grease and I have some in the garage but i couldn't find anything about how much grease to apply. Also, I am running full ball bearings in the tranny gears and axles if it makes a difference.

I just use regular grease (like you would find in a grease gun), and I just put a thin coat on all of the gears.
