Default Scorpion Tube Chassis...Limosine style!

This is a Scorpion Tube chassis that I made a short while back. It's a stretched version of some of the frames I've made in the past. This particular chassis has adjustable upper shock mounts that allow for the angle of the shock to be adjusted for optimum performance. I used the longer savage shocks on this one. I made four aluminum racing seats that are removeable for access to electronics. There is a dashboard in the front and an additional dash board in the rear secion for the passengers in the back seats. I made a Grant styled steering wheel from steel and each passenger seat has a grab bar also made from steel. All the body panels were made from aircraft aluminum. It's probly not comp legal but it was a blast to run. Hee's a bunch of pics...

It actually performed rather well. The articulation was just sick and the belly clearance was right on... It was the steering radius that killed me. It took for ever to steer it due to the extended wheelbase, so picking a line while crawling was next to impossible. It was one of those crawlers that you would take wherever it was able to go, rather than going anywhere you wanted. 4 wheel steering would have been beneficial in this case....

This is really cool. Id have a blast driving it. Paint it camo, stick gi joes in it, have top mount 50 cal, armor plating, lights, and the list could go on.

Awesome rig
