Here's how my axles looked under their first crawler:

Then they looked like this:

This is how they look now:

Not bad for plastic, that was made in the 80's

Here is a few pics of my Modified Gecko Chassied Clod with my Scorpion and custom trailer. The clod would be on the trailer, but the nylints are too slow to pull a trailer, and slip the belts to much in high. Originally built for rocks in 2002,but found out it had too short of wheelbase. So it sat on a shelf for a while then this past summer it got pulled out and i started playing again. Just took one to many runs through the water and fried the EVX. So back to the drawing board. specs:
Custom longer frame rails
Maxx shocks. majorly outboarded. Not as much flex, but more scale to me.
Traxxas titan 550's
Novak EVX
Traxxas TQ Radio
Traxxas 2 channel B.E.C. reciever.
JB Locked clod axles
Y servo harness for 4 wheel steering
Shaved steering stops
Proline TXT outback rims narrowed 1" on the inside
Imex Jumbo Swamp Doggs, beads are almost touching

My plan is to get a new receiver and esc. Mount up a nylint jeep body that will look a little more scale to my trailer and Scorpion, and waterproof it all and that will become my mud/tow truck.
