Default My Clod Projects: UPDATE 12/29

It's been a while since I posted an progress on my Boyer Clod. So I thought I'd post some pics of all three of my project clods.

First is the 99% finished Boyer, just need to wire up the motors and bolt on the rear lock-out.

Next is my UTRCRC V2 Chassis. I've had it for about 2 months now and I'm just now getting the axles under it. Hope to have this one done in the next week or so, but as you can tell, I've got a ways to go. The only thing I need for this one is the center 4-link post.

Last is my Centipede Engineering Mach I chassis with high clearance links. I've still got to order the cantilever system for this one. It will be the last one to be finished. Might have this one running in the next month or two, most likey two.

Spec to follow with progress pics.

Kevin

You really need to do an article on which is ultimately the best performer!

I was thinking the same thing. A 3 way comparison test.

BTW, Nice fleet you got there Kevin.

I'd be glad to write and article comparing the three. I'll need to think about the fairest way to do that, ie same tires/rims, motors, gearing etc. That way no one chassis has an advantage.

Grizzly, I'll still add one more to the collection when you're ready to start building yours.

Kevin

Who knows, since we haven't got any offers on the house in the last month I may end up with time to do that.

Update:

Two of the three are done.

Heres the boyer. Still could use some adjustments on the suspension and link angles.

Next is the finished UTRCRC V2 Chassis. On got to play around with it in the garage so far. Hopefully the weekend I can test it out some more.

Let m eknow what you think.

Thanks,
Kevin
