Default Is this normal?

My Clod axles with the covers on have this hole exposed... Is this supposed to be opened or blocked?

It's normal, all clod gear cases have it. It was used to mount a bracket for the suspension arms. It's old school style clodbuster, without any modifications. If it bothers ya, you can always close it by inserting a short 3mm button head bolt with 3mm nut behind it.

No problem, Here is the link to the clod manual, if you're just starting with the clods.

I used electric tape to cover it on my first few modded clods I had.
