AWESOME!!! I still have a soft spot for Clods. I have owned at least 1 for the past 18 years doing everything from racing and pulling to crawling with them.

A+ in my book

Thanks for kind words from everybody. Just trying to bring clods back to life in another form. Such as letting everyone know that the clod isn't just confined to super or 2.2 basher. It can be a 2.2 comp worthy.

Grizzy, you better get some more made, it might become popular again, I hope. (wishful thinking) At least I want another set.

Awesome! I have been thinking on going back to a Clod in 2.2, this build is great! Good find on the upper link mounts.

Great work Mudsy, it's so cool to see the Mini-clod kit with a modern bodiless chassis on it. Nice work keeping the builder spirit alive man.

I loved your build billygoat, wish it was still around. Thanks for the compliments.
I didn't think I'd see the axles under any new chassis' (didn't think I'd see the axles at all anymore ). I have talked to C*H*U*D about doing a Fastback Miniclod but he's convinced me to wait for the XR10 chassis.

A bit of update on its performance, not too bad. Needs some tweakings. Looks like I need to make another pair of badlands in M3 compound. The rear tires are in M2 and it doesn't quite conforms into rocks like the M3. I'll try that first. If that fails, I may attempt to make my own Robras set, knowing they will hook like crazy. I may also need to change the springs, it's a bit too soft for my likings. It also stalls a little not too bad... may lower the pinion count by one each. The electronic parts are right on where I like it. I have a set of fantom 35's that I may use it on. It's currently on my moa losi comp build.

I will continue to update this build as I tweak it along.

Any suggestions is greatly appericated.

This makes me wish I still had my first crawler. It was a clodzilla but I could have turned it into something like this! Very awesome build. I like it alot.

Yeah, I really enjoyed building this more than driving it. It's the thrill of hunting for parts that made this build very worthwhile. After many triral and error, it came close to my vision of it, when I first got those mini axles.

It would be cool to see a fastback on the mini-clod axles. Feel free to take my ideas. I posted it for that very reason.
