Default home made metal knuckles

Well i got tiered of breaking knuckles and i dont have money for the aluminum knuckles. So i took some brocken knuckles and shaved off what was left of the and the little ball for the stcok control arms. I then took a small tube and cut it to lenght. I then built a some outer knuckles and drilled them were needed. I then glued them onto the old knuckle tubes. It works great.

So what's keeping it attached to the axle/gear box?

oops, yeah I guess I missed that. But still, I don't think glue will be sufficient in the long run for such a key component of the axle assembly. Seems to me like you will still be breaking the axle tube just as much (if not more due to added weight). The break will just happen closer to the gear box assembly.

well actully its really tight fit. You also got the brace holding it in place. Also you have little force pushing them out sideways except in a side roll. The glue i used was some pretty nasty stuff to. I also pressed the tubes around the plastic piece. I really dont think that they will fall off. I have run them and rolled it a couple times and they are holding strong. Only time will tell.
