Very Tall - 8.62" tall! Make sure you have a 300oz/in steering servo for sure!

What rims are you thinking? The Axial 40 Series Narrow Beadlocks are what I am going to use on my TXT-1

For Series 40 Wheels you really don't have alot of choice especially if you want beadlock..

I want Narrow Beadlocks and I just ordered the Axial Oversized Narrow Rockster Beadlock wheels (AX8071) from Towers which are 2.16" wide! Pro-Line makes the Cheyenne Bead-Loc Narrow except it is 3.0" wide - I don't know how they call that Narrow..
You can also spend $150 on RC4wd's Cyclone aluminum beadlocks...

For competition, no, for bashing, yes.

Not for nothing.. But do you mean "Would these work if I made them thinner?"

They are 2.75" Wide - which isn't bad - they are not beadlock, so you would have to glue the rims.

Personally I would not bother with those rims... I would spend the $24 and get the Axial's they are beadlock and have a width of 2.16" and Tower Hobbies has them in stock

I am building a TXT-1 Super - but since the trucks share some parts I found useful info in this Forum .

I had a stock TXT-1 that I have owned for 8 years and for the past 6 years it has sat collecting dust.. While cleaning out all my stuff I finally was like sell it or use it.. and I found RC Crawler and the decision I made is obvious

Yes - These --> http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXTJG9&P=7

Mine are currently in Ohio enroute to my house now I just need tires, maybe Santa will get me those (or at least a gift certificate to the LHS - since their prices are EXACTLY the same as Towers - they just don't carry those Axial Rims)
