Default 9.6 volt Bullhead

I have a stock Bullhead running 9.6 volt 5000 mah on Trinty Midnight2 pro motors they are 27 turns other than that can't find much about them.Anyways I'm going thru brushes like every other time I run it in the winter. I have just recently wraped it in saran wrap around the hole motor expect last vent! There are 3 and it is 30 degrees outside, didn't think it would effect it much. Went through another pair in the rear end today! Question is is the 9.6 volt the reason going threw brushes so fast or weather! Thanks

The higher the voltage. The more wear on brushes and com. So you may be on to something with your system.Try a lower volt battery. A 2 cell lipo or 6-7 cell nimh might work better. It'll have less power of course.
I've got the same old midnight motor as you. It did'nt like my 3 cell lipo. Lots of bench time. 2 cell was the ticket for me. Ended up getting 35t motors and running 3 cell.
