im anxious to get started on my 1/6th tuber tonight. but my axles wont be here for another week. :( but if i had the measurement i could start it tonight.

i bought 5/16" hard line. but i think i might take it back for 1/4" what do you guys think?

heres the design im working on. but i need the axle width to check clearances to finish up the template so i can start! im sure ill add more braces as i working, i just wanted teh main ones on the template...

looks pretty cool! I've always wanted to use a AutoCad or sumthing to design a crawler but usually just throw something together. Which program are u using?

well im an architect so it kinda works out. and i have the large scale printers to print full size templates. works really well. if this goes well i may dip into a bit of a tuber side business. most for fun. i reallized i had a blast making it so far. however this first one will be VERY basic. i actually didnt use autoCad for this i just used my house design software "SoftPlan". works just fine. funny part is i have like 3 versions of AutoCad....

ill probly wait till im done adn post a start to finish build. maybe get it stickied, its gonna be a 1:6 super cheap, super scale, semi tuber....
ill keep ya posted....
