I like keeping the clods alive. I have a similar axle set laying around the house. What's your take on the servo's? have you had good luck and would you do them again? |
I like my clod because it seem to be indestructible "thumbsup" . It´s not perfect because of the steering angle and the big gear case but it works fine. I use them in all my crawlers (ecxept 1.9) . Until today I had have only one (bought end of 2010) problem in my 2.2 after a 3ft fall directly on one frontwheel. It worked good for another 2 courses and 3 or 4 packs. After this one of gears inside didn´t work any longer. With the similar MKS servos (one of the first you could buy) I had have problems with broken last gear (the one where the horn fits) but they changed them without problems. But never electronic problems. But a friend of mine had have 2 of them with slipping gear problems. Another friend too but he fixed it in this way and it works well. |
Re: annedecke´s superclass Clod No more news. Rig is sold. |
