I'll assume the motors are the Pullmaster 1. They are a colbalt magnet 10T 7 pole arm. They run well on 8-14 nicd cells or 3-4S LiPo. I ran these for years in some of my puller trucks but now use brushless in most of them. I moved a set of PM 1s to my Bully crawler and they work well on 3S. Here's some specs: ![]() What model of Astro ESC do you have? Can't give much help there without knowing. |

I don't recall any writing on the speed control the motors are the 1s though. I also have a set of gold can clodzilla motors. These are new never ran and im thinking about running those in my clod with the dragoon chassis. But I've always wanted a set of these motors and traded a friend out of them. I've had a few people wanting them but really don't wanna get rid of them for just anything. From what I remember they were expensive. Thanks for your info and time. ![]() |

Most of the Astro ESCs are forward only for boat and planes. Many of them do not have built in BECs either. I ran a PM1 in my AX-10 for a while and ended up twisting the entire axel housing off at the C knuckle and distroyed an RC4WD R2 gearbox. Had to build my own set of beef tubes after that. ![]() Last edited by ThunderVP; 10-04-2011 at 09:21 PM. |

The 205 is forward only, no BEC, 100 Amp continuous (500A peak), 50 volt max. They were popular on large Open 2 pulling trucks running 28 NiCd cells and 2 of the Pullmaster 3 motors. I still have a couple on the shelf. |

It still has its place for a high voltage, high power brushed motor setup like for a boat. They are big & bulky by todays standard.
