Default stock clod questions

Hey guys, so I picked up a stock super clod for $35 the other day.... came with no electronics, or axles... its got the small esp lift and the esp plate on the botton of the chassis to keep it from cracking out. All the suspension is there and everything is in perfect shape. It was only ran twice before the guts were pulled out for a crawler. My questions are would it be cheaper to piece the axles together or just pick up a set new and complete? And has anyone tried stuffing two servos in the chassis to run the steering seperately? I know I can put them on the axles but I'd like to keep it looking stock as this will probably be mostly a shelf queen.. anyways, thanks for any help guys !

You would be better off buying complete axle assemblies.. it would cost a lot more to piece them together (i did this once,,, never again)

as for the two servos in the chassis,, it sounds like a cool idea,, should be easy to build a plate that mounts on the existing servo mount..

if you figure it out ,post a pic,, Id like to see this one..

I understand that the super clod is a reproduction of the original. But are there any minute differences where original clod axles wouldn't work on the super clod chassis?

Original and all subsequent Super Clodbuster axles are identical.
