Gear box specs and measurements for the Super Clod I'm looking to make a hybrid axle based on the super clod gears. I'm looking to graft them into an Integy IROCK 1/8 gear housing on an Exceed Maxstone 1/8 axle. So far I have functioning axles with stock plastic gears in the alloy Integy IROCK gear box mated to Exceed Maxstone axle tubes and axle shafts With Integy IROCK alloy knuckles and inner C's. I have been on the hunt for alloy gears to add longevity to the axles. So far in my research I have found that the IROCK alloy gears have been on backorder and the Super Clod has available alloy gears. In a online comparison both axles share gears of the same tooth count (15t on 50t) but I am unsure if the pitch is the same. My current setup has 32 pitch gears and If the Super clod is also 32 pitch I can turn them on a lathe and adapt them. Can anyone confirm the specs on the super clod gears? Thanks in advance!"thumbsup" -707 |
Re: Gear box specs and measurements for the Super Clod Anybody? I'm sure somebody has a clod axle apart that knows what the pitch and tooth counts are. |

Re: Gear box specs and measurements for the Super Clod Thanks man!"thumbsup" |
Re: Gear box specs and measurements for the Super Clod Only the final gear that the motor drives is 32P. It is a 50T The rest of the gears are metric Mod1. Off the 50T is a 15T that drives a 44T with another 15T that feeds the dif/spool of 40T. 50/P x 44/15 x 40/15 |
