Hi All, I am pleased to share my truck here.

This is a hi-lift version of the defender with the cold axles installed. The current setting provides plenty of travel for the suspension but the drawback is that the CG is too high. I am waiting for the wheels that provide better traction and wheelbase.

Crushed any cars lately, lol. It looks good but lower the COG and sacrifice some articulation, it will perform much better.

raytard 07-20-2006 03:10 AM

Lay your shocks out like this / \ , instead of this \ / .
That will lengthen your w.b., & also lower your G.C. & C.O.G.... (you'll still have to lower your body though)

Btw:
Nice looking body! 8-)

Finally, a Land Rover clod! Looks good but you need to lower it for a better center of gravity and relocate your battery, possibly to the front axle, to further lower the COG.

ok, weve all said it so i think he gets it (lower cog)

are those aluminum axle tubes i see? nice truck, wheels dont make much of a difference its tires, i suggest some normal(wide) moabs.

run2jeepn 07-20-2006 09:43 AM

Play with the links and the shock angles. Its a great start and your axles are killer. Just lower that baby.

I have changed the landrover body to hummer h2, it becomes a scale rig...
