Default My Cloddernaut (JugBuster?)

I've had a shelf queen stock chrome edition Clod on the shelf for ages, and for some reason the desire to mod it up bit me, so here it is! The axles are Clod, but the chassis is Juggernaut 2, so not sure if i should call it the Cloddernaut, or JugBuster!

Its a work in progress, only using threaded rod for the links atm while i get the lengths worked out, and will then replace with solid links.

Its a Jug chassis, with axial spacers for width, GMade shocks, some Integy upper gearbox link mounts and front bumper, crawford rear servo mount and steering links. Tamiya 23T motors on a Tamiya dual motor ESC.
All i have left to do is make a Deans battery connector to connect the packs in parallel (7.2V w/8400mah), and topped off with a chrome Clod body. Needs a new window, it was cracked from the kit :(

Nice rig! Where did you get the lower shock mounts?

I used these for the lower shock mounts:
Axial XR10 Lower Link Slider Set (Fits 7mm Links) (2pcs)

I just cut off the slider part.

Very nice! I was looking for something like that. Did you have to buy 4 of these? Or does it come with 2 in the package?

Each package has 2. But I got them from someone with an Axial XR10 but doesnt use them. He also had a spare set so i got them cheap. Might be worth checking in the buy/sell, or xr10 forum to see if anyone has them spare.

I found these afterwards as well:
Super Heavy Duty Shock Mounts fit 1/4" Links
