i must say i have hot glued, jb welded, diffs in the past, but have really enjoyed these diffs lockers, they are so easy to work with and really fast:shock: , also the beuty and simplicity of the CRAWFORD PERFOMANCE ENGINEERING chassis the CLAW:twisted: , this chassis is the best buy because it comes with everything to install to your axles:shock: :)

CPE MT 07-28-2006 11:14 AM

I can't really tell if the chassis is complete or not from the photos, but the lower 4-links should mount to the upper portion of the axle tube (with the metal gearcase supports) for optimal ground clearance. Good luck with the rest of the build!

Brett, thaks for the heads up:) , the links are not installed yet on the pictures, i'am really pleased with the easiness of installation so far, i will post more pictures of the progress later:)

looks good let me know if you have wheel hop problems with it

cartronicshn 08-04-2006 10:07 AM

oh i haven't finished it yet, i have to add weight to the wheels:roll: , also bought some narrow beadlocks which should be here next week, also finishing the lid, i'll post more pictures with the finished product, and a final review, so far this chassis is really great:shock: :)

How do you like the 75t motors?

cartronicshn 08-04-2006 11:29 AM

the 75 have a lot of power, i thought with 13 tooth gears it would be to fast to crawl but the motors did help to bring down the speed a lot, i will put 8 tooth on it as soon as my adj mounts come in and will use a 8 cell stick:shock: to really test it:twisted:

clodstall 08-04-2006 06:52 PM

how does it do with no shocks?

cartronicshn 08-05-2006 07:03 AM

it has suspension through the tension bars in the middle of the chassis, it is very predictable to drive, you would have to try one to really appreciate it against the normal shock set up, i can definetly see the difference between my NN and THE CLAW:twisted:
