| Looong hiatus... Help wanted
So my little one saw all my old clod stuff and long story short is getting a ridgecrest for christmas. I want to rebuild my clod so we can play together. Here is what I have left. I noticed I dont have the metal axle braces. But what else do I need for the axles to set back up? Link me up... Pun intended. I want this to be f & r steer. Just a rock crawler, what motors? I am planning to just use cheap nimh batteries. I am not opposed to a different chassis and I like the cage style ones if anyone wants to recomend something. Help hook me up. |

A press parts bag, a couple sets of vertical servo mounts, and a couple of servos and you're in business! Motors can simply be something like 45T Integy with 13T pinions. |

Where can I get the servo mounts? What four link mounts should I use? I will look into the integy motors. |

Those servos will likely be on the low side for torque, but you can at least try using them. Usually, something in the 150+ in-oz range is needed for a Clod.

If you are using CPE upperlink mount and BTA you have to mount those lowerlinks on the bottom hole of the C-hub....If you are trying to maintain the articulation and "look" of the zilla you should try the CPE vertical servomount and you can mount the links that way I think
