Default Looong hiatus... Help wanted

So my little one saw all my old clod stuff and long story short is getting a ridgecrest for christmas.

I want to rebuild my clod so we can play together.
Here is what I have left.

I noticed I dont have the metal axle braces. But what else do I need for the axles to set back up? Link me up... Pun intended.
I want this to be f & r steer. Just a rock crawler, what motors? I am planning to just use cheap nimh batteries.
I am not opposed to a different chassis and I like the cage style ones if anyone wants to recomend something.
Help hook me up.

A press parts bag, a couple sets of vertical servo mounts, and a couple of servos and you're in business!

Motors can simply be something like 45T Integy with 13T pinions.

Where can I get the servo mounts?
What four link mounts should I use?
I will look into the integy motors.

I have these two z590m torque race servo metal. Will they be ok for steering?

Those servos will likely be on the low side for torque, but you can at least try using them. Usually, something in the 150+ in-oz range is needed for a Clod.

If you are using CPE upperlink mount and BTA you have to mount those lowerlinks on the bottom hole of the C-hub....If you are trying to maintain the articulation and "look" of the zilla you should try the CPE vertical servomount and you can mount the links that way I think
