| Wipeout gets a new skin and more!
Hallo everybody! Maybe some of you remember (also from other boards) my Clod based scale aluminum tuber, named Wipeout. This is what it looked like in its first days: But after some years of use, I got tired of the body shape (the blue one in pic) So decided it was time for a new look, more scale, more similar to the last trend in rockbuggies (and let's say I just falled in love with Poison Spider Customs creations ;) ) So new side bars were added for the tube fenders, and a CJ body "sacrificed" to be heavily cut to follow the Jeep exo-look I was looking for. The colour was an easy choice, having under the eyes the astonishing Suicide Sally pics from PSC. This is the real one, the inspiration: https://www.spydercustoms.com/chassi...ruiser6_lg.jpg And now this is how mine is coming out. Still unfinished, but looks like Homer is very happy with the result And Homer knows that you need power to have real fun, so what's best than a good shot of NOS in that Hemi? Hope you like it :-P Comments welcomed Rockspider |

That's one sweet looking rig!!!! Change out the wheels and tires to something more suitable for that chassis like some Losi ClawHammers and Maxximizer beadlocks and that'll really set it off. |

damn I remember seeing pics of that rig on RCMT when it was the popin board! I always thought that your rig was sweet! Glad to see it's still around. |

Thanks for the nice comments, I'm really proud of it now that it's coming out nicely the way I envisioned it. And definitely Homer will be the driver. He's not really happy for the seat size, but when I started mumbling about putting him on diet, he was so scared so he jumped in and now even the seatbelts fit... Pics to come soon! |
