Default Cheap upgrade for COMP based 2.2 Clod....

What is the recent craze with the 2.2 TLT's? Dig, yes front dig is a killer setup on a 2.2 TLT based comp rig, but what about if you have a 2.2 Clod? Let me tell you it's so stupidly simple it's a MUST do upgrade for anyone wanting to build a comp based 2.2 Clod rig.

Total cost? $11.99, one zip-tie, and 5 minutes of work.

Does it work? Hell yes. Sorry about the bad quality and bad lighting.... but I can't show off the real details untill after the ORCRC Comp this Sunday. I plan to do a write-up on the ORCRC.com website for a "how-to" front dig on a Clod for under $12.

Let's just say that it's so simple that it's amazing that no one has done it before, especially on RCC where the great minds think.

After Sunday I'll have some time to get some pictures and text.

let me guess, im over on orcrc already. you get a controler with two joysticks and use two esc's, ont two each joy stick.

if not that im guessing somethingt to do with a servo and moving the motor so the pinion doesnt makle contact anymore.

Since it's a front steer only truck, you can use the 3rd channel on the radio to activate a cheap servo zip tied to your rear axle. And it could force one tire to stop spinning.

Close but no. Yes on a cheap servo, about the size of a quarter is best. Nothing locks out the rear wheels.

Since I'm at work and have no truck or camera at the moment.... I'll be nice and when I get home I'll snap a quick picture and post it for you wimps.

I sure hope it isn't something Sven or Fishmaxx has already tried.

I have no idea what they have tried. I just have yet to see it on RCC before, but I could have missed it.

the servo has one of the power wires on the end of the horn holding it to the motor, you activate the servo and it moves the power wire off the motor??????????
