| Canadian crawler.. First build up
Hello everybody, Yes I'm new in these fourms and have just started a build up of a clodbuster crawler. And yes I'm from Canada, And no it's not cold or snowing up here. So I though insted of asking a bunch of ?'s, I thought that I would tell you about my build and if you have any other ideas then let me know. Thanx So I have clod axels but you know this, I have started to build my own chassis and links based lossely off of the NN and Gecko2 with my own mod's. I'm going to order some 8 tooth pinions and motor mounts. then get some 55 or 65 turn Lathe motors and do the 23 mm hex adapters as well as the MIP Clodbuster CVD's . I'm also picking up a tekin Rebel 2, I have a JR XS3 radio but will run a Hitec DCX receiver insted of the JR rec. (The JR is in my LST2 Racer) I've also pick up a Hitec HS-5645MG servo for the front and will try to use the JR z270 for the rear unless it sucks for power. I'm going to use the LST2 ball ends for my links. Shocks are still unknown but will decide fairly quick. and of course use the Jeep body. Well if I come up with more Idea's I'll post them as well as pic's |
