Default EP's Stick round two

I got one of the first few of Kevin's Stick chassis, back when it was called something else.

I seriously abused it on a daily basis and it's thoroughly worn out. But it's got one last mission, to win the upcoming TSC comp.

Here's some pictures of it's rebuild still in the process.

Shiat TC, pfffff.

The wood floors are nice, thanks for noticing.

Here's what it looked like before. Back when it whopped every TSC members' butt!

Thanks for the compliments guys. ;)

Andrewmp6, that's a Ford from Atomik, but I think they're not Atomik anymore. Let's see what Tower calls them now...

Venon must have bought Atomik or something, I dunno...

They're a little short in length for a stretched Clod, but they look pretty sweet, and the camo job is some print on the plastic before they mold it. They come with a windows insert that you tape on, if you want.

Looks good! What material are you using for the upper steering link in picture #2 of your first post?

You're kidding, right? Your chassis looks new compared to my POS!

Good luck at the TSC comp. Are you coming to Green River on October 1st?

Run2jeepin, I have a smurf blue Rock Pleazer I don't like, I'll hack it up and slam it.

Thanks for the good lucks at the comp guys.

Clodstall, it's an authentic Crawler Store Stick.

Okay, made some more progress getting this thing into shape. I moved the ESC to the front since the batteries are tucked in nicely. A quick run showed me 65 turn motors with 13 tooth pinions, on 8 cells is quick.

Are you using the Stock steering knuckles on the front, I mean is there really enough room with the stock knuckles and the Proline 40 Velocity wheels? 4cells on each knuckle, right?

I imagine 8cells and 13 tooth pinions were really fast ~ 15mph?

wildricer,

They're stock Clod knuckles, Heydco Maxx wheel adapters and not offset Proline wheels, and AA cells. 40 series wheels can tuck regular Sub C cells.

It's not 15 mph, I'm at a fast walk and it'll be a small bit faster.

Cool, that'll solve 2 problems on my homebrew stick...where to mount batteries and forward weight placement.

Thanks for the great pictures, they're helping me out quite a bunch.

Yep, it doesn't get too much more forward weight placed than that.

I like pictures, so I try.
