finally got what hopefully is the last of the soldering done. the leds went quick, the motors took a bit longer, but the battery wiress had to be the hardest. no pics of the motor wires, but what do you think about the battery wires? its set up to run both xl-5s on a single 2s lipo. i will test everything in the morning. i put some duplicolor filler primer on the body yesterday to see were im at with the body work. it still needs more work unfortunately, but it gave me another idea for the paint. what about leaving it primer gray and painting the grill and inside the bed black to make it look unfinished? not really an update, but i tested both futaba servos that were in this when i received it, the work! they are not very good but they work i attached each revtech vectra sport motor to a 9v battery just to see if there would be any kind of movement from the rotor....... they BOTH work! these dont seem to be a lower turn motor as the rotors didnt sound like they spun very fast. im not testing the MSC as i know very little about it. havent really touched this lately except for some body work. but i was about to pm somebody to ask if they could possibly send me a clear piece of lexan so i could make a template so i know were i need to drill holes in a servo plate. however i got a random idea to check if a servo mount from and axial wraith would fit. it looks like it will! cant really tell in the pic but it looks like the countersunk holes lign up! now i just need to pick up a second one, and threaded rod.
