OK so im thinking about buying a clodbuster as a basher and not a crawler. My question is... Should i buy a stock clod and play with that for awhile and slowly upgrade it or should i jump in with both feet and buy clod axles and and build one using an aftermarket chassis? ![]() |

I would buy a set of axles and find a chassis that you like..the stock chassis is limited and there are alot of options for chassis's out there..good luck, Cant wait to see wat you come up with

its up to you. i would buy a stock clod and drive it around to see of you like it, or find someone in your area that will let you drive theres. if you dont your not spending a lot of money on it. on the other hand if you like it you will have a ready to run clod that you can drive around and upgrade as needed. Stock clod is very limited BUT with some basic mods like moving the servo to the axle and new shocks you can have a lot of fun with it. I bought mine new and i like have the stock parts especially the body and tires etc.

Some of the most fun I've had with a clod was with my stock clod. The only thing I did was lock the rear diff. Sure do miss that truck. That being said, my favorite clod I had was my clodzilla 4 with the cantilever setup. That was a fun truck. ![]() |

I'd leave it stock first and see if you like it. Then modify it as you go.

I rembered something else. If you are leaving the stock shocks on, then remove the black bump stop rubber piece from them. I did that and ran only one shock on each corner. It helped a lot.

If its just for a basher then leave it stock.
