can you people with stock clods post pics of them so that i can see them, i have never seen a clod buster, and i am wanting to see what they look like

Not many people around here have stock Clods sitting around.

stock clods suck at crawling but are still a lot of fun just to bash with.

wow, i traded 2 1:6 scale nylints for a clod, was that a good deal ?

I guess it would depend on how much you paid for the Nylints, and what shape the Clod was in. If you're happy with the trade that's all that really matters. Either way, the Clod is MUCH more reliable than the Nylints would be.

i paid 50$ for one, and 100$ for the other, and does the clod crawl better than the nylint when it is stock

No......................a stock clod is only good for its axles. The rest of the rig is a plastic monster truck, not a crawler.

But since new 1:6 Nycraps sell for about $45 these days, and the clod axles themselves are worth about $100, you didn't do too bad.

are the clods water proof, if not how far can the go in the water

no the stock clod isnt water proof i dont know of any rc stock that is and yes they are right stock clodbuster sucks only thing good on them is the axles rest is cheap useless parts

so how far can i go into the water, im guessing just before the moters hit the water

just electric tape the holes on the motor and balloon the electronics and you could go completely under water

dude, motors are fine in the water, just make sure to maintain them..this isnt a place to post this, but u have PM clod booster

Bought this at a local shop 3 weeks ago. Did not add a lot of the bling chrome plastic to it as this is not a shelf queen. It is not to bad stock for bashing around. Locking the diffs is a must though. I recommend that for crawling or not. I ordered 2 65 turn lathe motors and a rubber seal bearing set for it off e-bay. Also dusted off the little CNC mill I got and slowly putting together a crawler chassis for it.
I drove this into the river accidentally and it floated on the big stock tires for a bit. Then slowly sunk. The stock motors were not effected but glad it didn't get to the ESC.

Also bought a 1:6 Nylint and it is pretty good out of the box. Way better for crawling than a stock Clod but not nearly as durable. This is going to be my 10yo daughters rig. I also got a semi-built TLT-1 coming for another build.
