They are perfect for super rigs. Hell, clod axles were the original axles on super rigs. On all of the super class and 2.2 rigs that use clod axles, the only thing I ever upgraded were bearings, steering tab mod, adjustable motor mounts and c-hub braces. The aluminum tubes and knuckles are really only needed when your racing monster trucks or bashing them. Otherwise, they are almost perfect stock.

I'm actually looking for a set of clod axles for my daughter's basher monster build, and the only upgrades/mods I'm gonna do to it are the ones I said. And this rig will get drivin way harder than a super class crawler....

For sure!!!

Bearings..... TowerHobbies.com | Duratrax Bearing Set Clodbuster/Bullhead (20)

these are the c-hub braces..... they are simple to make, so, alot of us just make our own out of 1/8" aluminum... RCP*Crawlers*Stainless...

Here are the adjustable motor mounts..... RcGuy Clodbuster Motor Mounts (pair) - The Crawlers Store LLC

Steering tab mod.... well, you do that with any cutting tool. you just cut off the little steering nubs on the top and bottom of the steering knuckle.
