| wheels don't turn when not moving
Is it normal to have the tires not turn when the clod is not moving? I have a 300oz servo and its mounted on the axle supports. I also have two batteries on my rig so its a little heavy. I'm running the servos off the exv2, so maybe they aren't getting the power they need? Also I noticed that when running the rear steers more than the front. I reversed the motors and the same thing happened to the previously rear servo. Is this normal? This is a 4 link crawler chassis if that makes a difference. Thanks all |

Ever drive a car without power steering? Harder to turn the wheel when not moving, yeah? But if you had more muscle in your arms it might not be so hard... I use a HiTec 7950 in my 2.2 tire truck, and it has 403 ounces of torque at 6 volts input. As for the ears turning more than the fronts, the same thing will happen while driving in reverse. It's a push versus pull thing. |
