Default Time for 4 wheel steer in my clod.

I'm going to set it up with the stock 4 wheel steer.

Time to mount and make longer steer rods.

Clean truck! I love esp chassis'. I am interested in seeing how your gonna run the links from a single servo on a chassis that has a lot of flex.... You have my attention.

I need to shorten the upper links to roll the trans back. The links miss the motor by an 1/8" this clod is pretty much a camping / bashing rig. Nothing is locked so crawling is all wheel spin.

Right on. The one I'm building for my daughter is gonna be a basher too. What servo are you gonna use to turn those tires?

I need to work on the rear steer and change the servo horn. Then I'll try it out.

Just tried it with front steer and it sucks a&&! Definite servo horn change needed at least.

Lol. That's never good. Is there a lot of deflection in the steering link being as long as it is? Which horn are you using?

I am trying a great planes heavy duty servo horn. If the steering links bend under torque then I'll switch to a 1/4" rod.

Steering horn fixed the sad steering. I tried it with just the front steering hooked up before working on the rear. It works great.

Success! This is sooooo much better than the front only setup. The longer servo horn made all the difference. I'll post a video later. Rear as usual is dominate in steer when in forward motion. Tight turns are a bonus for bashing.

I replaced the whole chassis with 1/8" angle. There is no flex in the chassis.

Nice! I was actually referring to the flex in the suspension. Lol, sorry for my poor wording. With those steering links longer than the suspension links, is there any bumpsteer when the suspension is articulating? Cuz if there isn't, I may just have to borrow your idea....

Also, what is the torque rating of that servo?

Torque: 4.8V: 76.3 oz-in (5.49 kg-cm)
6.0V: 94.4 oz-in (6.80 kg-cm)
It's the HS625 mg.
As for bump steer ya it's there. For what I do with the clod it's not really a problem. The gains I get in steering for basically no cost for mod makes the fun factor over ride bump steer.

I added front and rear aluminum drive shaft tubes. The new parts made it real tight.
