You might be better off asking on a RC pulling type forum, or even over at Radio Control Monster Truck Network - Radio Control Monster Truck Network They have a ton of monster truck / clod info over there.

What is your goal?
A competition pulling truck?
Something to pull kids around in a wagon?

Dedending what you want it to do will depend how it needs to be built.

Depending on what your local pulling club runs for rules, a stock dual motor class needs to run stock gears, (they can be locked) stock chassis ect.
NR/CTPA rules now allow adjustable motor mounts so you can change pinions and also brushless motors are allowed.
Rear steering and rear suspention should be locked.
