Servo mount brace I have noticed that the axle braces where my servo mounts attatch to seems to rotate a little from the torque. Has anyone made some type of brace for it?? |

Contact thecrawlerstore.com and get some of the shock mounts for the stick. They tie to the servo mount then to the axle and will fix the problem |

Ill have to give that a try. |
1 Attachment(s) I use a 25mm screw running through the plate with a nut on the bottom side of the plate to sandwich it. That connects to a Traxxas rod end on a 25mm long axle tube screw. Sorry I dont have a close up pic right now. http://www.rccrawlermedia.com/rcc-al..._005.sized.jpg |
servo brace just solved that problem on mine tonight. I used 1"x1/8" aluminum angle cut to fit. one side bolted to upper link mounts, the other to the servo mount I'd send pics but I don't have a digital camera yet |
Thanks for the ideas. I ended up take a old maxx steering link cut it, then bent it and welded it to the axle brace. No more flex8) http://austink5.net/albums/album328/100_2241.sized.jpg |
