Well I'm still going to finish it, with some removable lockouts just incase the rules change. Its still bas a$$ to drive without the rear servo.

WOW, that is crazy. Really inovative and looks like it's going to work really well on the rocks. I can't wait to see a vid of it in action.

Really??? I just went and looked at the votes for forced articulation, and there haven't yet been enough votes to call it yet. Not allowing forced articulation is leading by a far margin, but it isn't over yet.

Why can't they make a class where anything gose 4WS, forced suspension, etc.? Make a couple classes, you don't see just 2 types of classes in 1:1. Cool rig man dont let the man get you down! |

And it looks like forced artic would take quite a bit of skill to operate in a comp situation under pressure. Anyways, love the second vid too Great work man.

Now the only thing I noticed but is fixable is I think I need some more foam in the rear red rocks just to keep them from smooshing up on an undercut ledge. The rubber is very close to as good as the mashers. Realy the only thing I would changes other that the rear foams is a little thicker carcass on the rr's. But since I am running clod axles the extra height far outweighed the small problems I incountered. With that said I climbed everything with the red rocks, I did'nt make everything with the mashers, mostly the near vertical ledges. There was a slight advantage in sidehilling with the mashers. So in conclusion I am going to run the red rocks, they fit my driving style and for me they work better, I just need to change the foams in the rear tires. I probably wouldn't run them on a tlt though, I think the extra weight helps them.

Try the Airsoft BBs, they work even better w/ a little more weight! |

Very cool write up thanks for the comparison. I watched a guy use them on a tlt. The biggest thing I noticed too was the side walls are very weak and fold too often. I don't know what foams or if any he had though. |

I noticed them folding up but thats fine for me with the dual esc's. I had it hanging on a leadge and the front tires were rapping almost to wear the rim would touch the rock, to me that tells me the tires are gripping.
