4 Link Nissan Titan Clod.

This is my prototype for my Nissan Titan Clod Crawler/Basher 4 link project. Now that I have a working prototype for the chassis I can draw up and machine the final chassis. I will abuse this until I get that done however.

My Own Prototype 4 link mock up chassis
Clod Axles Locked
rubber shielded bearings
65T Team Integy Lathe Motors
Stock 13T Pinions
Traxxas XL-1 ESC
4WS with 2 Futaba S3003 Steering Servos. (Yes weak, but all I got for now.)
2400mah battery
14" wheel base

I am very happy with the way it runs right now. It is setup more for bashing than crawling but crawls pretty decent to.

I know you saids this truck is more for bashing then crawling , But looks like your front steering set-up is really going to hurt your approach angle. Or is that still a prototype ?

Cool Titan pick up body. Who makes it and where did you get it?

you need oil filled shocks and hes right best place for the servos are on the axle stays

gee the arms are hanging very low arn't they'

Yes the front steering needs changed. I just have not got around to changing it yet. It does hang up a lot especially with the 2.2 tires. However the clod tires makes it much less a problem. The Red Rocks are even bigger as well. I am going to CNC a axle support with a steering servo mount in it as well as a link and shock mount.

The body is from Parma. Came un-painted. I painted the windows black for a tint look and the rest is metallic red. I got it from my local Hobby Town USA. http://www.hobbytown.com/

Oil filled shocks are on the list as with high torque servos.

Yes, the lower links are hanging low. That will change when I CNC some new axle supports with link, shock and servo mounts. With the 6.5" Red Rocks the links should not catch on anything after moving them where I want them. The wheel base is narrow enough at 14" to keep most objects from catching.
