I was looking around, and if you just piece them together via getting parts bags you can build a set of axles for like 80$ with good bearings.

http://www.thundertechracing.com/catalog.htm is where I get mine

www.rc4wd.com sells them too. I pay $140 for mine, It would be hard to beat that price with all new parts that you pieced together and Thundertech even includes instructions. 8) .

Well, I was looking around on TowerHobbies at their replacement parts, getting all the replacement parts to make clod axles would run about 60$ per axle, 120$ total, plus getting hardware from somewhere...

So its not as cheap as I thought, maybe a little bit cheaper but for the convinience getting a new gearbox with all the parts and instructions and etc.. much better deal.

When I did my first Clod, Ace and I priced it all out and we came up with about $120 also Dave, but we figgured we were missing some stuff so I just sis the Thundertech. I would recommend it for a first timer.

If ya already bulit a clod and you know every parts bag you need, and you dont need instructions, you could save a buck or two by peicing them together. Personally, it aint worth the hassle to me and all my axles come from TTR.

Yep, those were my thought's exactly. You can get them on ebay with a radio and ESC for pretty cheap too... for budget build ups thats the way to go, get all your drivetrain and electronics stuff at once for cheap, maybe even sell off the old parts if you really want to save.

I didn't see them either, they used to sell them. Used to have 2 pages of Clod stuff. I'd just go with Thundertech, they were the same price anyway.

Just a though here, you can buy a complete super clod buster for $195 from Tower Hobbies. Sell off the parts you don't need and keep the axles and you will end up payin a lot less for the axles. :D

Re: Please help

But is there any demand for stock clod parts besides the axles?
