Default New clod build up

my question is do I try to find axles (at a decent price) or do I just buy the kit and sell off what I don't want. when I do get the axles any recomendations for them besides bearings???

Thanks frank

IMHO if you have the budget, get the kit assemble it and run it a little bit, you will get the feel for the assembly and also familiarized with the internals of the diff, also after you drive it stock anything you do to your clod is an upgrade you will notice, then read everything you can about them in this forum and decide if you are competing or just bashing, there are many awesome chassis vendors and other parts parts you WILL need to get your clod crawling, look around e-bay and the vendors section in here if you just want the axles and get to building right away, they can run anywhere from $85-120 for a set of 2, you can get all the parts brand new form tower hobbies, or check the vendors for complete built axles also. Good luck
Welcome BTW to the forum.

the only things you need from the kit are the axles, as for chassis also check THE CLAW from CPE, it's an awesome chassis, i own both the nn and claw, and the simplicity of set up of the claw and performance is great, + value.

my build:
Cpe Claw Build, #2 Prototype

CPE:

you can also check them out in the vendors section.

Thanks... I liked the NN for ajustability , I want to run a 14in chassis with Imex AT 2.2 for the more real look. would I need to beef up or need any other parts to add to the axles???

Thanks frank

check out the cpe axle inner and outer stiffeners, i have broken a couple axle tubes, might also want to look into cvds, they are higly recomended for better steering and durability.
