Default new clod basher

Started working on a clod to bash this winter heres some pics of whats done so far.

Looks pretty sweet. Only thing I would change is to move the lower links to the top bolt in the axle C. That will get the links up out of the way and give you a much more neutral suspension.

the chassis is made by me its 3/16th steel rod used a mig to put it together.i also thought about moving the links up to gain more gc.
need to get some motors and try to get together can't wait to hit the rocks.working on the body panels as i m wrighting this.

i think he means the lower links and yes id move them from the bottom of the axle up to the top where the axle stays screw on

yeah i moved the lower links up and due use it that way i will have to redue the links so that will have to wait till i get the bugs out.And as far as the back tire goes DON'T EVER CUT THAT MUCH OFF they get real soft and don't work worth a s#@t thats why i used them to mock it up .Hope to have some up dates later this week.

Well i got a little more done tell me what ya think and be easy on me this is my first build.I got my inner supports welded that will hold my esc and receiver body panels made shocks mounted so hopefully i can get my electronics wired and start hitting the rocks soon , on to the pics

Great looking rig you got there, other than the lower arms needing to be being relocated above like everyone else mentioned. I really likes the look of the rig, you be willing to make another?

Great work for a first timer , the green looks killer, you are running a rx pack on your axles and stick in the center of the chassis , right? anyways great build man

finally got to take it out for a trail ride every thing worked great exept the front tires i havent cut them yetso here are some pics and no my wiring is not staying like this




truck actually worked better than i thought considering its my first crawler
