Thanks guys!

I'm thinking of building new gearboxes with these worm gears. I can get a 30:1 ratio with just 2 gears. I'll add another gear to run the pinion against to allow for changing ratios before the worm gears.

The worm gears should be ideal for a crawler since a high ratio worm gear drive takes a lot of force to backdrive. That will hold the truck in place when off the throttle and not roll downhill.

I modified my battery holder to work with my LiPo packs and added a steel belly skid plate. I need to pick up some flat head screws and run the screws up to smooth out the belly.

Remounted the skid with flat heads and made motor skids.

Thanks. I posted a short video of it back on post #34 before the tube work and body but haven't ran it since then. Hope to try it out soon.

Ran the truck yesterday in the garage. It did good and the beadlocks held great.
