Default TTR CVD's

I just picked up some. I've got the "new design" that it is redesigned. The axles are splined at the trans end to accept the brass hexes. Anyways, they come with Delrin wheel hex's. Seems like a crappy design to me we have a beefy axle and joint with a cheap plastic hex :-x Anyone strip any yet?

Just makes me angry as hell that I paid the same as everyone else but my kit came with plastic hex junk. I mean I had a horrible time with their 14mm adaptors stripping. What the heck are they thinking?

Hmm I just got mine a week or so ago and there the billet aluminum ones. I did order them through RCP so maybe they had them for awhile.

Gave it a quick 10minute test and just as I thought, Junk

So now I'm thinking since TTR can't design a adaptor the way we need. (I know cause of a long phone call with the creator one time)

I figure why should I adapt a adaptor?

Why not at least attempt to make my own?

Just ordered a lathe chuck adaptor for my rotary table to see how it goes.
