Looking great Dirk, keep us updated on how she runs!
Of course, we wouldn't mind you posting those 1.9's at all

The rig works very well.
I'm really, really impressed with the chassis.
The tires are almost perfect.
Still fine tuning everything.

Placed 8th (out of 23) at the 2nd event in colorado with it. I think if I would have been able to watch a few others on one obstical I would have done much better on that particular course, netting me a top 5 finish. Event three will allow this truck to shine!!

I guess it's OK.

Since you bought everything and just bolted it together.
Didn't really have to use your intelligance so that was a good thing.

I was impressed with how well it went from right side up to upside down, back to right side up, back to upside down. Did that rig ever make it out of that hole on course 3? Seriously though, great looking rig.

That was called driver idiocy though......no fault of the truck.

Here is the score sheet for the super comp.
You can see my first two courses were done very well with the Reign chassis. I screwed up the third course by not watching my competitors lines( I think).

So how did the tires perform?

Is their smaller size a hindrance compared to the larger Moabs or Mashers?

I don't think so at all.
In fact, I think they are a benefit in the terrain we are running. They turn well, don't fold over and never get hung up on anything because of being so big. I'm sure there will be compromises though, where I wish I had the xl's.
I'm getting a set of another tire that is the same height but a different tread pattern and compound to try at the next comp.

On a higher note, this chassis is a work of art! It seemed to have lots of travel, stable on side hills, and very clean!

I am wondering how it would work w/ TXT axles?
