Aluminum Hubs

Which is better in design? Two piece from RC4WD or theInet version with plastic spacers,

flexmonger 12-15-2006 03:24 PM

The one peice looks and is stronger."thumbsup"

pureadrenalin 12-15-2006 07:21 PM

Just needed opinions. I really believe one piece is stronger.

The Inet ones rock! The RC4wd ones need to be ground for full turning and several of the Co. locals have broke them.

Hello i'm from colorado and i have broke both the inet ones and many rc4wd ones! I prefer the rc4wd ones though. Anybody got anything better? Thinking on going back to plastic!

pureadrenalin 12-15-2006 10:00 PM

Why do you like the RC4wd ones. Please share.

redrover 12-15-2006 10:13 PM

I just ordered the INET ones. I havent put them on yet - Santa is bringing them to me.
I cant say which is better.
But the one piece seems stronger - less screws to loosen and it seems like one machined piece would be stronger anyways.
just my .02

pureadrenalin 12-15-2006 10:40 PM

yup i agree. i be ordering inet version.

andrewmp6 12-16-2006 02:04 AM

inet are a copy of the gpm ones and yes any part can break it just depends how far you push the truck

Mnster 12-16-2006 03:06 AM

GPM or Inet hands down, think about it.
  1. Cheaper by far $16.88 a set."thumbsup"
  2. Fit and finish is far better then the rc4wd ones."thumbsup"
  3. No arm screws to loosen, strip, or snap."thumbsup"
  4. Large beefy king pins"thumbsup"

I bought my GPM's from here.

I like them better because w/ the inet/gpm ones the screws that hold the knuckle in place always back out and strip the knuckle threads. I have never stripped the rc4wd's. I will say u have to grind more of the rc4wd's to gain full steering. U only have to grind a little off the inets.
