Talking My first Clod Build

Today I looked around my garage to find materials to make my clod chassis. I had intended to make a chassis out of lexan and have a 4 link system. But I started making the chassis and I ran into a few problem the lexan seemed to be to brittle and snapped really easy. While I was looking around I found some aluminum strips that go on the floor in the door way. I had a few different pieces but every one bent with little force. But I happened to find one that a had an arc to it that make it pretty rigid but still had flex. So I decided to make a torsion style chassis. In about a 30min I had a chassis to mount my axles to. There is some pictures below that 4link4eva helped me post. Please check it out and leave some comment and ideas. Thank everyone! Hope every one has a good Holiday!!!

Thanks for all the help, comments, and ideas!!!

Wrap your links in [IMG] tags so we don't have to click each individual link, then we can take a good look at it.

Put a [IMG] before the http bit then put a [/IMG] after the .jpg bit. Good luck.

Hey 4link thanks for the help!!! And thanks for the comments. O and about the wheels, i bought the axles withe adapters and those wheels and tires of ebay in one package deal. So I did have a choice. I dont no if you saw but one of the wheels i tried a bunch of different chemical removers and even oven cleaner but nothing worked so i had started to scape it off with a knife. Im am not a fan of the purple but I havent figgured a good way to get it off yet. Thanks for the help!! Happy holidays!!!
