| tube chassis land cruiser
out with the old and in with the next one! Cant post pics cause im a newb if someone can post 4 me ill e-mail em to ya. anyway, built this one today.this is the 6 tube chassis ive built. this one uses a land cruiser body by proline. novak traxxas ESC, TXT shocks all 4 corners, dual batterys, 4wheel steer with 3 channel, tie rod and drag link behind the front axle. uses a radius arm front suspension( similar to rubicon express kits) with a panhard bar. the rear is a wishbone 3link set-up with bent lowers. front knuckles are rotated so the motor is up out of the way. so the caster stays normal. the chassis is 1/4" ss tubing .035" wall and completly tig welded. the next project is going to use a bronco body by hpi. tube chassis as well.will use TXT axles with tig welded gears, useing a hpi savage motor with a water cooled head and custom made radiator, and exhaust.custom beadlocks, 4link rear w-coils/3link front w-coilovers and 4 wheel steer. in put appretiated. Freaking sweet!!! After building my clod crawler on a Gecko II chassis, I want to build a tuber. First bicycle frames this summer, and then I am sure I can build a tuber. You have done an amazing job.

Beautiful frame! Who did the powdercoating? I have a frame I'd like to have done, but looking for someone to do it. |

I just painted it with a rattlecan. no powdercoat. thanks for your complements guys. the goal was to make it look like a 1:1 rig. which reminds me i need to get back to my real buggy project.
