| Boyer... done?
Ok, I think I've done everything to this rig that I am going to and thought I'd share it in it's final form. For now I have the Savage tires I modded on it because I really like the way they look. :P Tonight I encased what wires I could in black plastic wire sheild which cleaned up the look a lot. I put on the beadlock rings, made final adjustments to her stance and admired her beauty. LOL She articulates nicely without being too loose or sitting too high. When I finally get to take it out, I'll be testing a secret and very tedious mod I made on the Savage tires and will report success or miserable failure. I will also test the Panther Meatgrinders, Giant Tracs (my old faves) and the Zombies I just bought. One can never have too many tires can one? Last edited by zBigBadWolf; 12-19-2016 at 10:12 PM. |

Looks good, love the roll bar padding and the use of the wire loom to clean things up! |

| Almost the same one...
I've got a Boyer very close to your's. It's got many miles on it. I use it regular, and not afraid to scratch it. Got it from KingBling last year, [we won't go into detail on that] Hope you like it, it's not as pretty as zBigBadWolf's but, it'll crawl like no other. Many long falls, not a failed weld yet. |

Here is one from in the spring, when I just completed it. note the HPI Maxx wheels on the GT's. I'ts not spaced right with the spacers I have for those wheels. Narrowed the clod wheels a touch, it's been the setup since then. 55'ts 8t, rear 9t front. straight axle, modded stock front axles for better turning, CPE lockers ft & Rr, CPE adjustable motor mounts, CPE made the links for me too, it's got a 17" wb, and rc4wd knuckles all around 645 servo, hand made dash, steering wheel and shifter, cell phone seat. Crawls real nice. |
